Set across three elegant Georgian townhouses on Playfair Terrace, North Street, our boutique hotel is just moments from The Royal and Ancient Golf Club and the iconic Old Course. Dating back to 1847, the building has been carefully restored to preserve its original character and heritage features, thoughtfully balanced with the comforts of modern hospitality.

The name The Kithmore nods to the Scots word kith, meaning friendship, familiarity and a sense of home. With a spacious bar, restaurant and outdoor terrace, it will be a welcoming placegolfers, visitors and locals alike can gather, unwind and enjoy its easy, homely charm. The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 10:30.

The hotel does not take a deposit, but cards are pre-authorised at time of booking.

Your check-in, check-out and breakfast are in the Ardgowan Hotel. However, Pilmour rooms are located in Pilmour Hotel which is directly next door.
